The word from the CBVA office in Malibu is ............. Spalding "KING OF THE BEACH" Either the black and yellow (I have dubbed the Bumble Bee Ball) or the older styled plain white model will be the official ball for ALL CBVA sanctioned events along the California coast. Spalding continues to be a very solid supporter of the CBVA organization and I do not anticipate any changes. See ya at the beach in April.... Keep the rain dances going...

The CBVA events will be using the Spaulding Ball for all their tournaments this year. It is a great ball and much more responsive than the Wilson AVP ball in my not so humble opinion..... mhull

Phil has left it up to the 4 players to decide which ball they want to use in the No Attitudes tournaments but almost everyone agrees on the ball that is currently being used in CBVA tournaments.

Here's a message from the NCVA:

We use the Molten Beach Boss. I am not sure what the AVP uses for
competition though.
