Are there any programs in the Monterey/Santa Cruz area for kids in the 8-12 age range? I would appreciate any information you may have.

If you are looking for club volleyball, girls has already started (try-outs were before the holidays). Boys have the second 1/2 of their season in May or June, their main season is typically Fall? UC Santa Cruz and Cabrillo College offer summer camps for kids.

I offer a class where I train kids ages 10-14, or younger if mature enough.
My next session is Friday evenings, beginning March 27. Registration through
Capitola Recreation. I have two courts. and the kids have games and training

Surf City Volleyball Club has a 14-& Under girls team competing in local tournaments through May.
We have a solid team and the team is looking to fill a two spots with experienced players. Tournament days are May 3, 17, 30 & 31.
This is a chance to play club volleyball and receive solid training at a reasonable cost.
